The Artists

Paul Badley (tenor)

He has toured and recorded with ensembles such as The Tallis Scholars, I Fagiolini and the Dunedin Consort, and performed in leading concert halls worldwide. His oratorio work includes roles such as Evangelist in Bach’s Johannes Passion in Beijing and Haydn’s Die Schöpfung at the Singapore Festival. Paul’s wide-ranging discography includes Rachmaninov’s Vespers with Tenebrae, Mozart’s Requiem with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, and Percy Grainger songs with Richard Hickox.

Gareth Dafydd Morris (tenor)
A graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music, Gareth is a contracted principal artist with Welsh National Opera. His many roles there include Karataev and Konovitsyn (War and Peace at WNO and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden), Giudice (Un Ballo in Maschera), Cherevin (From the House of the Dead), and Kaherdin (Le Vin Herbé). He has sung over sixty leading roles in opera across the UK, Europe, the USA, China and South Africa, embracing an extraordinarily broad repertoire. Alongside his stage work, Jeff is an accomplished interpreter of the great oratorio masterpieces and a dedicated educator, serving as a member of the vocal faculty at the Royal College of Music.

Ben Saul (piano)
Ben Saul is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most exciting vocal accompanists of his generation. Alongside his flourishing career as a pianist, he has served as a church musician at some of London’s most prominent institutions, including St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, and All Saints’ Blackheath.
