I trained as an Opera Singer at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the National Opera Studio. I then undertook a career in which I have been lucky enough to sing pretty much every operatic Tenor role I have ever wanted to sing in opera houses and concert halls all over Europe, in America, China and South Africa.

As well as my singing career I’ve been teaching for almost 20 years. I teach at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and have a busy private practice.

I have been involved with choirs since I was a young kid. I love choral music. I currently run four choirs. A church choir in a tiny village, which has grown and frequently replaces cathedral choirs in their duties. I also have two choral societies and an ad hoc choir, Cantemus Cum Spiritu, about which you can find information on this site.

My aim with choirs is to help the singers to find the best in their voices and teach them how to be really expressive through choral music. We have a lot of fun. Laughter is so important in finding the freedom to really express ourselves.
