Cantemus Cum Spiritu at Winchester Cathedral 15th & 16th February 2025

Get ready for a musical adventure with Cantemus Cum Spiritu! Designed for advanced singers and choir leaders, these events are your chance to come together, sing at an elite level, and have an unforgettable time. If you’re applying, make sure you’re either totally prepared musically or sight-read like a pro. We want everyone to hit the ground running so we can dive straight into making beautiful music.

Our mission is simple: to help you fall in love with church music all over again and to bring that joy back to your own choirs. We start each event with the confidence that you know the notes and lyrics, so we can really get into the music and unleash your full expressive power.

Join us at Winchester Cathedral on February 15th and 16th for a weekend of fantastic singing:

• February 15th: We’ll rehearse from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, then get ready for Evensong with a rehearsal from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and the service at 5.30 PM.
• Frebruary 16th: We begin our day with a 9:00 AM rehearsal for the 10:30 AM Eucharist, and then we’ll regroup at 1:30 PM for the 3.30 PM Evensong.

We have space for 36 singers—12 Sopranos, 8 Altos, 8 Tenors, and 8 Basses. Expect a vibrant mix of well-loved and new pieces in various styles.
