Choral Workshop Featuring Parry Greats 22nd February 2025

Our Choral Workshops and Group Singing Lessons have now built up a fantastic reputation.

The combination of practical, easy to understand vocal technique, which works with your body’s natural functions, exercises to build your confidence, and an approach to music and text which helps you to connect to it in a new and fulfilling way, have been described as “Life Changing” and “Mind Blowing.”

It’s very simple. What we do is to teach you to get the best out of your voice and and to bring your personality out in your singing. In short, we help you to take steps towards becoming the singer you’ve always dreamed of being.

On 22nd February, at the gorgeous church of St. Andrew in Holborn, London, we will be doing all of the above in a day lasting from 11am to 5pm.

We will improve your singing technique and build your confidence, and then we will apply what you learn to two of the greatest Choral Works of Charles Hubert Hastings Parry, Blest Pair Of Sirens and I Was Glad. With the aid of these inspiring pieces we will teach you how to sing in a truly joyful and effective way.

The day will be led by Jeff Stewart and Ben Saul, whose unique and humorous way of teaching will keep you relaxed and energised.

There is no public performance, but we will run through the music we have learned at the end of the day.

We will provide you with electronic copies in advance so that you can prepare the music, and will give you access to learning tracks. There is no obligation to learn it in advance but, if you do know it, you will obviously get more out of the day.

You will be provided with hire copies on the day, which are included in the price of the event.
